Ellen Thompson, the Team Leader for the Vermont Sampler Initiative, will be using examples of samplers from the Henry Sheldon Museum collection and other collections around Vermont to provide information about this needlework art.

Ellen Thompson, the Team Leader for the Vermont Sampler Initiative, will be using examples of samplers from the Henry Sheldon Museum collection and other collections around Vermont. She will focus on what can be learned through studying these examples and how the Vermont Sampler Initiative works to fill in the gaps in the historical record of this industry.
