Middlebury Community Wind Ensemble Winter Concert

The 40 musicians of the Middlebury Community Wind Ensemble, conducted by Jerome Shedd, celebrate many local connections in their winter concerts, including “Ilsley’s March” to salute the centennial of the Ilsley Library, “Madlyn’s March” written by Vermont composer Ken Bagley (conductor Shedd’s cousin) saluting their grandmother Madlyn Shedd, soprano Gwen Delgadillo will sing two Gershwin favorites, and works by Dubussy and Grofe have been transcribed by two Midd Winders, Jack Clay and Jerome Shedd. Concert is Free – No Tickets Required.
